Already at the ebay auction I noticed special 000007 VIN number and though that this might be an very early 1969 model production car. Indeed, all body panels are stamped with zeroes, and fender tag is empty, except for engine, transmission and order number. I also found "PILOT" text under the upholstery.
Being a pilot car means nothing in practise. It might be that build quality of this car is even worst than onces built later. But its a story, and gives a cool name for my project: "PILOT 007".
