This winter I have plans for replacing all the joints and to change the rear gear ratio to something more street friendly than the original 2.76. During the last summer I noticed that the drivers side of the back suspension was significantly lower than other side. Also the suspension was a lot softer on drivers side. That made cars rear end "jump" strangely on road bumps.
On the engine side, I have replaced the camshaft to original Mopar Magnum shaft. Now the engine is idling nicely. I ordered the exhaust headers and installed them. I though that it would be easy, but with big block engine, the engine compartment is quite small. The biggest problem was to get around starter motor and power steering.
I ordered used rear end carrier with 3.23 ratio and sure grip. Just before installing I cleaned the unit and painted it with "cast-finish" paint.

Winter 2002-2003 - Other stuff |

I have made some updates to engine compartment. The all new Mopar valve covers are just as beautiful as ever. Also notice the new air cleaner cover.
